TUC has cautioned govt not to touch pension funds

The Trade Union Congress has cautioned government not to touch pension funds of it members or even make an attempt to negotiate for a cut.

Deputy Secretary General for the union Joshua Ansah, stated that their pension funds are their blood as it’s their only source of livelihood.

He there for threaten government that if it dare touch their pension funds they will rise bitterly against the government with all their toil and sweat.

According to him the right of workers have been staple upon by multinational with the support of the government of the day as they are no longer going seat alof for these multinational to toil with the right of the Ghanaian worker.

He made this assertion at the National May Day Forum, organised yearly aheard of the National workers day celebration by the Union at the Menzvic hotel in Accra.
