Moshie Yadega Community Donate Food Items To Nsawam Prison Inmates
The Greater Accra Moshie Yadega Council of elders has installed a new zongo Chief of Fadama New Jiddah moshie zongo in the Greater Accra region with a stool name Naaba Sonre.
The 53 year old businessman known in private life as Alhaji Muniru Ibrahim, was crown after receiving the blessings of the national chief Imam Dr cheik nuhu osman sharubutu.
The installation became necessary following the demise of the Zongo Chief Naaba Saaga, known in private life as Alhaji Abdul Rahman ouedraogo, who passed on to eternal glory on May 13, 2023.

The colourful but solemn ceremony, which took place at Fadama New Jiddah Moshie Zongo, also coincided with the final funeral rites of the late Naaba Saaga and brought together traditional rulers from different parts of the region, zongo chiefs, the Muslim community and other dignitaries.
In a keynote address, the Greater Accra Moshie Yadega Chief, Naaba Ramia, who suppritends over the community , congratulated the new Zongo Chief of Fadama New Jiddah Moshie Zongo on his successful installation and entreated him to work hand-in-hand with the appropriate bodies to ensure orderliness and tackle pending challenges facing the community in order to restore peace in the area and beyond.
He advised him to be fair and firm to ensure that peace, unity and tranquility prevailed in community. Naaba Ramia also expressed that challenges confronting the community needed pragmatic solutions to pave way for development.
He pledged to support the newly installed Chief to ensure a successful reign. The installed Chief, Naaba Sonre took the oath of allegiance and secrecy from the Greater Accra Moshie Yadega Chief, Naaba Ramia assured the community of his readiness to champion their cause and promised to ensure that the society rolled out skills training projects for the youth to be self-sufficient.
He also assured the community of his unflinching support throughout his reign that he will use his office to project and promote development.
Naaba Sonre promised the people of the community that he would maintain and strengthen the already peace between the youth and traditional authorities in the area urging the youth to be steadfast and be ambassadors of peace.
He stated that he would continue to engage the youth of the community by sensitizing them on the need to do away with social vices such as smoking, armed robbery, internet fraud among others.
Naaba Sonre also outlined some support that will be offered to the youth to help them develop their potential. These include a youth skill training centre and scholarships for the needy but brilliant youth who wish to further their education.
