Miss Earth Ghana 2022, Miss Eunice Nkeyasen is set to embark on a two-week environmental tour in Greater Accra Region and some selected regions and officially launch her foundation on 2nd June 2023.

The two-week environmental campaign would include tree planting, clean-up exercises, courtesy calls, distribution of Dustin to lorry stations and schools, educational tours, and visit tours and visits to tourist sites in Ghana.

This will be done with her, fellow International queens, Miss Earth England, Miss Earth Scotland, Miss Earth Burundi, Miss Earth Zambia, Miss Earth Cameroon, Miss Earth Nigeria, Miss India, and Miss Bulgaria.

The project is in partnership with ECO- Earth Foundation Internation, Forestry Commission, EPA, Ghana Tourism Authority, Maxmart Shopping Centre, Tampico, Miami Lounge, and Viola Fletcher Foundation.

Each year, approximately 12 million hectares of forest are destroyed. Since forests absorb carbon dioxide, destroying trees also limits nature’s ability to keep emissions out of the atmosphere.

These man-made activities have become very dangerous and the consequences are deadly if we do not do something about it.

Speaking to the press, Miss Earth Ghana 2022, Miss Eunice Nkeyasen said, tackling climate change is, therefore her ultimate agenda.

She noted that it is time we start paying attention to climate change and its activities in order to enhance resilience to its effects.

“My primary agenda is to educate young children about man’s contribution towards climate change and global warming and its ripple effects on humanity. The goal is to inspire and get young children involved in our contribution to this campaign.

Executive Rep for ECO-Earth Foundation, Gisela Emefa Gagakuma stated that ECO-Earth Foundation is committed to planting more trees to combat climate change and global warming.
