Africa and Ghana will be the first country to have branch in West Africa.

According to Dr Kush Gupta, one of the Directors of the Company, “Ghana is one of the potential market to establish their office and expand to the various Sub-Saharan countries”.

Speaking to the press at the opening ceremony of the West Africa Pharma Healthcare Exhibition in Accra, the Sales and Marketing manager of the company, Dr Kush Gupta said, they are expecting to meet both distributors and importers who are base in Ghana so that, they can bring quality medicine at the affordable prices to the masses.

“It will be a pleasure to have a meeting with the highest authority in the country because we are here in Ghana for a long term plan not short term plan, hence, if we get support from the authorities, we will also do more to the development of the country” Dr Kush reiterated.

However, Ghana’s Deputy Minister of Health, Alhaji Mahama Asei Seini also emphasized government commitment to partner pharmaceutical industries in order to achieve Universal health Coverage.According to him, in order to ensure that, all people living in Ghana enjoy healthy lives, Ghana was the first country in the Sub-Saharan to introduce the National Health Insurance Scheme in 2003 as part of its commitment to achieving universal health coverage by 2030.

West Africa Pharma Healthcare Expo is an International Medical Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Industry trade fair in Ghana.

The event brought together the manufacturers, wholesalers, dealers and distributors of the medical diagnostic pharmaceutical industry, hospitals and influential decision-makers in the West African region in Ghana.

West Africa Pharma Healthcare Show is expecting 120+ exhibitors, this edition with over 5000 visitors from pharmaceutical medical and healthcare industry community from Ghana & West Africa, and over 100 hosted buyers and partners from the sector at Accra International Conference Center, Accra Ghana.

The Deputy Minister who doubles as MP for DABOYA/MANKARIGU Constituency added that, the Ministry of health is happy to associate with the objectives and the mission of this conference which is aimed at building a resilient health care system in the West Africa Sub Region using modern health technology and collaborative partnership.
