UPSTAG to Host Three-in-One Exclusive Excursion and Annual Teachers’ Party
The United Private School Teachers Association of Ghana (UPSTAG) is organizing an exciting three-in-one exclusive excursion on December 26, 2024, inviting regional members, private school teachers, families, and other interested individuals to join in this unique adventure. The excursion will take participants through some of Ghana’s most celebrated sites: Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Castle, and the Oasis Beach Resort, all in a single memorable day.
The event, expected to draw members from Greater Accra, Ashanti, Western, Central, and Volta regions, also serves as UPSTAG’s annual teachers’ party, a tradition that brings educators together to relax, network, and celebrate their profession. Participants will experience the thrill of Kakum’s famous canopy walkway, a tour through the historic Cape Coast Castle, and a refreshing visit to the scenic Oasis Beach Resort.
Adding to the excitement, there will be swimming, aerobics, and various games organized throughout the day, creating an engaging and lively atmosphere for all. Tour guides and security personnel have been arranged to ensure participants receive educational insights and protection at each site.
In an interview with Online Times Ghana, UPSTAG’s Executive Director, Julius Blay Agbesi, assured members and participants of a smooth and incident-free event, emphasizing the association’s dedication to safety and enjoyment. “We are committed to making this excursion not only exciting but also safe for everyone,” Agbesi stated.
Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with multiple outfits, including sporty and swimming attire for the planned activities. Each participant is required to pay GHC 200, covering transportation and entrance fees, while additional funds for food and personal expenses are recommended. Although food will be available for purchase, participants are advised to bring their own snacks for added convenience.
With this multi-site excursion, UPSTAG aims to provide a well-rounded experience that combines education, relaxation, and celebration. As the event approaches, the association encourages interested individuals, families, and schools to reserve their spots for what promises to be a day filled with exploration, camaraderie, and appreciation for Ghana’s rich heritage.
UPSTAG remains dedicated to its mission as a private school teacher-centered welfare association, continuously striving to support, uplift, and celebrate private educators and education across the nation.
