The high cost of cement and building materials are dwindling our businesses,

A business man and a contractor, Mr Zachariah Cobina popularly known as “Zakmus” laments over how the cost of building
materials are affecting their businesses, urging government to consider easing up things which will go a long way to affect price of building materials.

The business man suggested that, senior high school graduates who venture into construction as their means means of livelihood now dont have access to construction job due to people failing to venture into construction as a results of the high cost construction materials.

ZAKMUS noted, as owner of four block factories, cement dealer and owner of most public toilets facilities in Greater Accra region indicates that, almost all the sales now are actively low due to the to the high cost of living, building materials and fuel and this cuts across every business in the country.

In an interview with Atinka news reporter SAMUEL NYAMEKYE JNR, the businessman then admonished the Youths to be hard working and also desist from resorting into money rituals, for there’s no shortcutto riches.
