Dr Abubakar Mohammed Marzuq, the Personal Assistant to the National Chief Imam and an Executive Member of the Hopeneli Project, has revealed that his outfit remains committed to promoting political and religious tolerance in Africa.
Marzuq stated that the Hopeneli Project aims to “refine Africa and ensure peace” by encouraging responsible leadership and self-reliance.
He emphasized the importance of democratic governance being a means of development, rather than misgovernance.
He appealed to Ghanaians, especially the youth, to avoid violence and instead focus on ensuring a peaceful electoral process that upholds the principles of the constitution.
Marzuq called on the Electoral Commission to remain neutral and act in the interest of the people.
Overall, the Hopeneli Project he stressed is working to promote enduring political and religious tolerance in Ghana and across Africa, with the goal of fostering sustainable development and peace in the region.
