Prak Industries Ltd officially launched its “ODO Brands with many product lines.
The prak industries ltd has launched its Tissue brand-line called “Odo” literally in the Akan pallance means “Love”. The short event to unveil the new Tissue brand on the market brought together dignitaries from all walks of life.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Robert Owusu Ansah– who is the CEO for the prak industries ltd, indicated that: “Our vision is to ensure odo Tissues become a household name, easy-to-find and the number-one choice for all tissue-related needs of every home in Ghana”.
At the Launch Mr. Owusu Ansah unveilled Odo line of Tissues– which is wholly-produced in Ghana and Ghanaian owned.
Mr. Owusu Ansah– who was very positive about the latest introduction, Odo Tissues because he wanted to chart a new path – and believes in a wholly Ghanaian-owned company that produces its product here in Ghana.
He said: “Odo has come to stay and Government through its policies must minimise import duties on raw materials to enable young companies compete and thrive . This he said would enable the company create more jobs and also honor its tax obligations to the state.
On his part, Mr. Owusu Ansah– indicated that the launch of Odo Tissues is a representative of what government is looking for in the country. That Ghanaians create businesses to employ and develop our own.
The MCE Madam Anita Obo Amissah said government is looking at building an entrepreneurial country where in citizens develop their ideas into businesses which will grow to employ other citizens.
Madam Anita Obo Amissah used the opportunity to praise the whole prak Group of Companies and it’s products and asked fellow Ghanaians to emulate such gestures. She also advised the company to inculcate better corporate governance practices in its work.
The “Odo” brands ranges from Toilet rolls, Kitchen Towels, Facial Napkins, pocket Tissues all made from , soft and highly absorbent pure cellulose virgin papers under the most hygienic environment. The amazing quality and beautifully packaged ODO products represent a new experience in the world of tissues on the Ghanaian market.
