Ghana’s security agencies have moved into the post-election security phase, implementing additional measures to maintain peace, security, law, and order. Despite limited cases of looting, vandalism, and destruction of properties across the country, 89 suspects have been arrested in connection with various offenses.

Of the arrested suspects, 40 are directly linked to acts of vandalism, looting, and destruction of properties.

According to ACP Grace Ansah Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs, All suspects will face justice in court. The public has been cautioned to refrain from violent acts, as perpetrators will be arrested and prosecuted.
