NDC parliamentary Reshuffle: Let’s support the new leadership to deliver on their mandate – NDC Organizer
The regional Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Mr Charles Asiedu has called on the leadership and followers of the party to throw their interminable support to the new parliamentary leadership of the party to deliver on their mandate.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Mensah Abrampa on High Radio Morning Show dubbed High Morning Breeze, Mr Charles Asiedu explain that the decision of the NDC leaders to reshuffle parliamentary leaders is not something new and not the first time issue of this kind has happened in the party, therefore he doesn’t get it how people have to raise series of concerns about the decision of the executives of the party.
He added that any position that is given to anyone by the NDC party in the parliament house of Ghana is given to members of parliament who are capable of ensuring success and victory for the party and the position bestowed to them therefore most members of the party do not surprise with the decision taken the party executives hence other members of the party must come on board to support the new faces of parliamentary leaders of the NDC to enhance development and empower them to unseat the NPP come 2024 General elections.
He further explains that it is not mandatory for the party executives to pre-inform the members of parliament before choosing parliamentary leaders therefore the party leaders used the right channel to initiate the reshuffle.
He opined that if the party seems it necessary to embark on reconciliation exercise on this matter with the affected members, it shall be conducted to facilitate peace and unity to ensure victory for the party I the upcoming general elections in 2024.
