MOMAG ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVES
The Mobile Money Advocacy Group (MOMAG) has sworn into office its newly elected executives with a call on them to make diligence a hallmark.
The new president of MOMAG, Mr Edward Ofori Agyeman who spoke on behalf . of the new executives in his inaugural speech assured of his readiness to serve the group satisfactorily.
He stated that addressing matters in relation to the safety of mobile money agents was among his topmost priorities, adding that all members of MOMAG should be rest assured that he would continue the good works his predecessors started.
“I am ready to give off my best in the interest of MOMAG and so I am pleading with all our members to rally behind me so that together we can achieve our aspirations as a group. I promise not to let anyone down,” he added.
According to Mr Agyeman, his outfit would also work towards finding means to provide loans to members of the group who needed financial support to boost their businesses but could not go to the banks due to the current high interest rates. He commended the immediate past executives for the sacrifices they made purposely to see MOMAG grow.
Also, he advised members of MOMAG to monitor their mobile money business outlets cautiously and “leave no room for negligence.”
Madam Nyarkoa Addo, immediate past president of MOMAG advised the new executives to promote unity and continue to find innovative ways to boost their businesses.
She thanked all members of the group for their support during her tenure and hoped that the new team would keep promoting the core mandates of MOMAG.
