Jnr. JM Joins Ashaiman Campaign Rally, Urges Unified Support for Mahama and Norgbey
Ashaiman, Oct 27, 2024 — Jeremiah MacLean Jr., popularly known as Jnr. JM, made a notable appearance as a special guest at a campaign rally in Ashaiman, rallying support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidates ahead of the upcoming elections. Jnr. JM, accompanied by the leadership of The Associates, joined Ashaiman’s parliamentary candidate, Hon. Henry Ernest Norgbey, and Buem Constituency MP, Hon. Kofi Adams, to energize residents for a strong turnout at the polls.
Hon. Kofi Adams addressed the crowd first, commending Ashaiman residents for their steadfast support of the NDC. He urged them to cast a unified vote for both John Dramani Mahama as president and Hon. Norgbey as their parliamentary representative. “Ashaiman deserves leaders who will champion your needs,” Adams said. “With John Mahama at the helm, our communities will see real progress in jobs, infrastructure, and social support. Let’s avoid split-ticket voting and vote straight-ticket NDC to ensure unified leadership for this constituency.”
Jnr. JM, accompanied by The Associates leadership, then took the stage, reinforcing the message of solidarity and the importance of voting decisively for Mahama and Norgbey. “Ashaiman has been patient, but now it’s time for real change,” Jnr. JM stated. “With President Mahama’s vision and Hon. Norgbey’s commitment, we can create job opportunities, improve infrastructure, and build a future where everyone in Ashaiman has the chance to thrive.”
He highlighted the challenges facing Ashaiman’s youth, promising that Mahama’s policies would focus on creating economic opportunities for young people. He encouraged residents to come out in strong numbers and vote NDC for unified progress.
Parliamentary candidate Hon. Henry Ernest Norgbey, a long-time advocate for Ashaiman, also addressed the crowd, sharing his commitment to serving as a proactive and accessible MP. “Ashaiman needs a voice in Parliament that will push for development, healthcare, education, and jobs,” Norgbey affirmed. “With President Mahama and myself, we will build a community of opportunities and make Ashaiman a model of progress.”
The rally, part of NDC’s ongoing grassroots campaign efforts, attracted a passionate turnout. As the event concluded, residents pledged their support for a unified vote, expressing hope for a stronger Ashaiman with Mahama and Norgbey’s leadership at the forefront.
