Ghana Police intensifies security measures on Collation
The Ghana Police Service has intensified security measures for the collation of results in four outstanding constituencies in the Eastern Region.
According to ASP Mensah said, the Police, the four outstanding collations have been relocated to the National Police Training School (NPTS) in Tesano, Accra, with a fortified security presence of Police and Military personnel to ensure a safe and secure process.
One of the constituencies has been successfully completed, leaving three more to be collated.
The Police have also made similar arrangements in the Ashanti and Bono East Regions for the remaining collations, pending confirmation of the dates from the Electoral Commission.
The Police assure the public that adequate security measures are in place to enable Electoral Commission officials to perform their duties without any disruptions.
