The member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency Mr Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has urged his followers never be discouraged  because they control more than one-third of the NPP

He said the election was one man against the whole season but whom God has ordained shall surely come to pass. He lauded supporters, saying they had now proven their relevance to the NPP.

The Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong made this encouraging message when he hold a thanksgiving service to express his gratitude to God and supporters following the outcome of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), where he emerged second held at campaign office in Accra.

The Lawmaker of Assin Central Mr Kennedy Ohene Agyapong furthered that People underestimated him but he was able to win about one-third  of the voting population.

“A pastor prophesied that if i gets more than (16% ) they should kill him, but I am praying that God should give him long life to witness what God has for me. I believed in God, he who fight and runs away has another fight to fight , I urged you all to remember me in prayers for good health, strength and long life.”

Even though he did not win the presidential primaries, many in the political landscape of Ghana have said that Ken is the true hero of the election because he pulled nearly 40 percent of the votes against the “establishment candidate” Vice President of the republic of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

He told all his followers not to be discouraged but rather have faith in God and wait for the brighter future because in God, all things are possible
