Coconut Afrika World Foundation Launches Fundraising Talent Search Concert

The Coconut Afrika World Foundation Inc., in association with Coconut Juice Production, is delighted to announce the launch of a fundraising talent search concert. This exciting event aims to support talented artists in the music industry and provide a platform for them to showcase their skills, promoting creativity and excellence in the entertainment industry.

According to Mr. Victor Quaynor, also known as Jah Son, the General manager in Ghana of the Coconut Afrika World Foundation Inc., many talented individuals in our community lack the opportunity to exhibit their talents and are not encouraged to pursue their passions as a career. He emphasized that the foundation and Coconut Juice Production have come together to organize this event to address this issue and provide a supportive platform for talented artists to shine.

The talent search concert will take place at the prestigious Art Centre in Accra on three consecutive dates: August 17, September 14, and October 12, 2024. The event aims to establish a skills center that will empower youth and individuals of all ages to develop their talents in singing, rapping, and other areas, such as instrumental music, dance, and poetry. By doing so, they will have a valuable skill set to rely on for their future, enhancing their confidence and self-esteem.

Mr. Quaynor stressed that the organizers recognize the challenges faced by the youth and the importance of equipping them with skills that will benefit their community. By providing a platform for talent development, the foundation hopes to create a community where everyone can thrive, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and progress.
