The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua has opined that all 4 presidential aspirants in the November 4th presidential primaries has signed undertaking to accept the outcome of the results.
The decision came at the of a meeting conveyed the presidential election commetee headed by Professor Aron Michael Oquaye, in attendance at the was Nana Addo Dankwah and all the 4 candidate also joining the meeting via zoom was former president John Agyekum Kuffour.
The general secretary addressing the media on the sideline said all the four aspirants has also pledge their commitment to the support the winner of the primaries and canvas support for him to win the general election in December 2024.
According to him,the signed undertaking also entailed that the will not resigned from the Party if any of the 4 failed to win the elections. National Chairman of the Party, Stephen Ayensu Ntim on his part called on all the aspirants to work as a team after the primaries to ensure NPP break the 8 years mantra in ghanaian politics.
According to him, alternative to the New patriotic party is very scary, therefore there is the need to reconnect their passion of service for the benefit of the party.
He urged all the aspirants to let goof their personal interest and rally behind the great elephant family. He added that the party(NPP) will take a strong stand against indeciplain from all the aspirants before, during and after the primaries.
