Africa must innovate and act differently-Deputy PAPSS CEO
The Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pan African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), John Bosco Sebabi, has said that Africa need to innovate and do things differently.
Mr Sebabi was speaking on the topic; “Leveraging digital infrastructure, innovation and technology to connect Africa on the second day of the three-day Africa Prosperity Dialogue (APD) 2025 conference in Accra today.
The conference is on the theme; “Delivering Africa’s single market through infrastructure; invest, connect, integrate.”
Touching on the global retail payment ecosystems and Africa today, the PAPSS Deputy CEO said, Africa has adopted mobile money payment which was doing well.
He, however, stressed the importance of interoperating among various African countries and said the interoperability platform and infrastructure had been laid and it was time now for Africa to leverage those infrastructure.
